Scene 1 – Introduction + Equilibrium (Before)
We see the subject entering the tattoo studio and sit down begging to draw a design. A cinematic b-roll style will show him designing a tattoo the audio is raw up until this point having a realistic effect on the establishing sequence which will create the mood we will see throughout this piece. “Why Tattooing?” we here the subject repeats the first question we ask and give a brief answer to why he picked tattooing and the introduces himself by name and profession showing a title in the lower four thirds of said name profession.
Scene 2 – Disruption (Discovery)
The visuals will carry on seamlessly as an observatory style however will be heavily influenced by the crew’s presence we will move on to the next part of the tattoo process keeping the same style throughout the film smooth cinematic b-roll shots watching him move his design from paper/ipad to a stencil. During this segment we are planning on asking these questions to get the answers we want to create the narrative when he discovers that tattooing is the career path he wants to go down.

Scene 3 – Recognition (Start of Journey)
The footage will transition on to him applying the stencil and prepping to begin tattooing. Applying the stencil to the body part of which he is tattooing and prepping the area for the tattoo in this segment we will focus on the begging of his journey tattooing answering these following questions so we can create a narrative to fit scene 1 and 2.

Scene 4 – Attempt to repair (Struggles)
For this segment we will have the subject put ink to skin and show his tattooing process as he tattoos a client keeping a range of shots from wide to close up we hear the subject voice the struggles he has faced begging this career path creating the conflict and how he overcame the conflict.

Scene 5 – New equilibrium/End (Result)
The last scene will show him revealing the tattoo and packing down being the last link in the observational style film making approach we are taking asking the question about where he is now and if it’s been worth it and where he plans on going next bringing the story around full circle to a nice close.
